Sky Searchlights have been used for decades for all types of functions and events. For over 10 years, Bay Area Lighting and Sound has been one of the few providers that offers this very unique service. Our searchlights are very bright and attract attention for miles away, that sweep back and forth into the sky with motion. Using Xexon and high discharge lamps, we can achieve stunning visibility. Rain or shine, our lights are ready to be put in place and ready for darkness to appear. All searchlights are powered from our delivery truck with on board generators or can be placed on the ground. Plug and play! Rental service is for a 4 hour duration. Overtime fees will occur after 4 hours.

Can this be true? Yes, we can project patterns, text phrases and logos into the sky for your guests. Our special projection searchlight, is extremely powerful and has been used for some great occasions. Simple shapes and logos are created with your logo and a laser metal disc is made for our equipment. Legible effects can be created for up to 2000 feet away. Ideal conditions for sky viability must have low clouds or low laying fog for pattern to be seen correctly. We need a canvas to project onto. Sky Searchlight rentals come complete with hardware, delivery and setup. Fuel is provided for searchlight generators and is based on 4 hours of use. Overtime will apply after 4 hours, at a rate of $150 per hour. Bay Area Lighting and Sound does not provide permits for use or seek permission from any agency or city. Most cities do not have any ordinance or regulations for use of promotional sky tracker searchlights. It is customers responsibility to seek more information pertaining these topics if needed. Sky Searchlights are waterproof and will operate under any weather conditions. Power generators are needed to supply the high voltage to the spotlights and are included in the rental. If lights are requested to be removed from delivery truck, please add $100.00 per unloading and loading for labor. Searchlight equipment generally stays on truck during use. We request 1 parking space upon arrival.
